Top Ranked Wheeler Wildcats travels to Los Angeles to compete in The Chosen 1's Invitational, a high school showcase put on in conjunction by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, Nike and NBA and four-time NBA champion LeBron James. The showcase features some of the top teams in the country, and will be played at the Galen Center on the campus of the University of Southern California. Coach Larry Thompson takes his squad back on the road just leaving Chick Fil-A Classic battling in the Championship Game against John Marshall out of Richmond, VA. Red eye flights, hotels and keeping everybody on time. This shows life playing a national schedule and competing against top talent in the country on their turf. Wheeler took it head on.
