Hello everyone,

In S2 E28 I built a turnout from a Scalefour Society kit. Given that I will be demonstrating at Scaleforum again this year I thought I'd display the turnout in a little scene or diorama.
This was probably a daft idea, I'm really busy at the moment, and a couple of weeks worth of spare time really isn't much. However, I'm not one to let a daft idea hold me back...
I'd hoped to document the whole process and thought it'd make a great video. With a little more time, that could have been the case, as there's more to this diorama than immediately meets the eye. However, time has beaten me, so in this video I concentrate on some DAS clay work, and painting some laser cut stone walling.
The level crossing gates are based on an LC&DR design, and are operated by a very simple mechanism which will feature in a future video.
The house has is built from some old plans for labourers cottages built for Earl Carrington's estate in HIgh Wycombe.
