This is one amazing technique to create shapes and letters with water flowing downwards. It’s pretty much like old dot matrix printers creating figures on the paper, one dot at a time but this is with water drops.
These fountains were dubbed 'water printers', because they use complex computer-controlled releases of water droplets from thousands of tiny spigots to create amazingly intricate waterfalls that are illuminated by lights to look like images from a dot matrix printer. They display graphics that include names or other messages, flowers, animals, geometrics, or abstract designs.
