🌫We're going on a trip to Mae Hong Son, the land of fog.

🏔For admirers of Thailand's nature, Mae Hong Son is one of the best provinces to visit, with its cold weather, nature attractions, architecture, and stunning temples showcasing great cultural diversity. The long drive with more than 1,000 curves is so worth it.

Here is the list of the places we visited:

Day 1
📌Witch-themed cafe before entering Mae Hong Son
📌Santichon Village, a tourist village with lots of fun activities
📌Ban Rak Thai, a Yunnanese village with a reservoir in the center
📌Lee Wine Ruk Thai, our place of stay for the first night, which was difficult to book. You're lucky if you get a boat, too.
📌Long Chuang Chuang Mala, a restaurant located on the lakeside at Ban Rak Thai

Day 2
📌Long Neck Karen Village, Huay Pu Kaeng, a hidden Karen village only accessible by boat
📌Baan Song Thai, a restaurant with great dishes, especially the tofu balls
📌Nai Jing Homestay, a homestay that is only 100 m away from Pang Oung

Day 3
📌Pang Oung, a place for lonely folks, where nature and fog make the mornings extra peaceful
📌Pang Tong Palace, a royal project where tons of rare animals reside. I liked the sheep the best.
📌Namtok Pha Suea & Tham Pla, nature attractions with lots of large blue fish
📌Ban Jabo, a village surrounded by limestone hills with a view of morning fog
📌Kikokor, a coffee shop situated atop a hill, perfect for romantic sunset watching
📌Ban Pak Jai, the house with the most spectacular view at Ban Jabo

Day 4
📌Noodle Soup House, a popular restaurant where you can hang your legs while admiring the sea of fog
📌Tham Lod Cave, an adventurous large cave with a passage to the other side
