[Instead of viewing India as Bharat after independence, I think the early leaders, perhaps with good intentions, shaped outcomes that have been detrimental to India for the last 50 or 60 years. Still, the people of India must be commended because, in spite of the government's shortcomings, they kept marching ahead.

And now, in the last 10 years, there has been a dramatic change in India. We are witnessing all-round change that the world had not expected India to effect, and which finally lives up to Bharat's true potential.]
