LITTLE OUSE PATH | Winter Hiking | Thetford to Brandon

The Little Ouse Path is a 10 mile long distance hiking path from Thetford to Brandon. This walking route mainly follows The Little Ouse River.
At this time of year, it’s nice to have pretty day hikes like this to do.. the scenery was beautiful, the sections along the river were peaceful and full of wild life and the parts through Thetford Forest were lovely.

The path is flat and well signposted, and it has great transport links. You can easily park at Thetford station, and catch a train or bus back from Brandon when you complete the trail.

The route passes through Santon Downham where you can find public toilet and a shop / cafe.

We decided to do this day hike as our first group hike with our new hiking club - Officially Smashed It Hiking Club
