Today is a day of sad endings and new beginnings. Winter has begun with 8" of snow, and I bring out the Farmall Super A to plow the driveways. Then it's time to move the tractors around in the barn and get out the Farmall MD. We pull the MD down to the shop and I begin disassembling it. This is the beginning of a winter-long project to get it running after 20 years. And I have some news about a sad ending, but put it in perspective of life and death on the farm.
