With some tube bending jobs coming up, specifically the rear subframe of the Virago I'm working on (and also a roll cage for a BMW next) I needed to finally take the time to convert this old JD squared bender to air over hydraulic.

When you have to manually bend you need the bender locked down becuase you're pushing so hard if it's not bolted to the floor it will fall over, with a cylinder you can mount it on wheels which makes it so much easier to use. I robbed a cylinder from my engine hoist and welded up some contraption to power the bender with it!
