I am sharing another way to overcome the laptop cursor moving but not clicking.

The explanation is like this. Your software is having an error, this could be due to a BUG, if you have updated the software but the error still persists, can you downgrade it, by uninstalling the driver? what will happen? Nothing happens, because this only removes the version bug in your driver. Hopefully my explanation helps.
