This video shows the process I used to produce resin replicas of my 3D print out by casting in Epoxy.
A silicone mould is prepared using the 3D printed parts. Tinted epoxy resin is then poured into the mould and removed once cured to reveal a replicated part with enhanced properties.
Resin replicas offer great advantages over traditional FDM-style 3D printed parts: they are more temperature resistant, airtight under pressure and have consistent density.
This will eventually go on to be part of a robot I am making, so stay tuned and don't forget to like and subscribe!
