The Vedic Age was a period of late Bronze Age and early Iron Age history. It came after the decline of the Indus Valley Civilization around 1400 BCE.
The Indo-Aryans were a group of people who migrated from Central Asia to the Indian subcontinent and introduced the Proto-Indo-Aryan language. They were pastoralists who spoke Indo-European languages and called themselves Aryans, which means "noble people" in Sanskrit.
