Apple wanted £460 to fix this MacBook or offered £40 to recycle it. The original owner Mike didn't accept either offer and asked me if I wanted it for a video. The back story with this A1706 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is as follows... It has had very little use and only charged approx. 20 times. When Mike went to charge it up recently to donate to a newly arrived Ukrainian family in his local village it didn't charge up, hence the reason it ended up on the blue mat. Can I fix it for less than £460?

Remember that this is just for entertainment and I am not an expert in these repairs. The processes in the video may not be the best way, the correct way or the safest way to fix these things. I do love fault finding and trying to fix broken things, so I hope that comes across in this 'Trying to FIX' series. Many thanks, Vince.
