John Arthur Groess was the creator, voices, editor, and producer of this show which aired on ABC for over 10 years. The episodes where only 10 to 12 minutes long and most of the skits led into each other as a carry on story line from show to show.. John Arthur died in 1983 leaving behind one daughter.

Sparky was a puppet "ELF" that oh so much wanted to be a living breathing real little boy (following the story of Pinocchio from Feb. 23, 1940).
