Toho Kingdom has a translated draft or outline for an unmade King Kong VS Godzilla film from the the Showa era in the 60's and 70's. With the early working title of Continuation: King Kong VS Godzilla, we find out that Godzilla died after their last encounter!!! Talk about who won between these two, this film would have settled that, and then made the waters murky once again unfortunately. Instead, we would get Mothra VS Godzilla.
