Mumbai-Pune Expressway is India's first expressway which was made fully operational by 2002. It is six-lane concrete, access-controlled expressway. It spans a distance of 94.5 km connecting Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra to Pune, reducing the travel time between them to 2 hours.
