Sky News host Liz Storer has discussed the Star Wars series ‘The Acolyte’ being cancelled after just one season.

“It was only a couple of years ago that one of the directors at Disney announced to the world – it made headlines – that she wanted 50 per cent of characters ... to be 50 per cent LGBTIQ,” she said.

“Now, in ‘The Acolyte’, I’d say it’s more than 50 per cent; they went for gold, and lo and behold, shock and surprise, it’s an absolute failure. People do not like this.”
