My favourite memories of this song are listening to recordings of the great vidwan Ramnad Krishnan sing it with ease in that honey-dipped voice of his. He would then go on to sing some swara kalpana that embellished the song he had just sung. Here's my rendition of the song in the padanthara taught to me by my guru, with some swara kalpana with the wonderful artistes Vid. Vaibhav Ramani and Vid. J Vaidyanthan.
