Forger v Nomad – Can Forger make a comeback in 2023

The Forger app now has polygon tools! It’s probably the only decent app on the iPad that allows you to make polygon models by manipulating points, edges and vertices rather than sculpting.

But it is too late? Nomad sculpt has dominated the Market and isn’t a subscription app.

What do you think? Is it too little too late? Or a brave fight to regain dominance?

We started teaching digital sculpting on the iPad using Nomad sculpt and we were planning to release 3D sculpting classes. It might be back on the table if this proves to be a successful release.

Digital sculpting is well established these days with programs like ZBrush, 3DCoat, Blender and more recently in VR with apps like Adobe Medium. There are now some amazing solutions that allow you to sculpt on an Ipad Pro with an Apple Pencil.
