Building a modern farmhouse TV stand for your home starts here. We used faux shiplap on the ends, sanded birch plywood and 1 by spruce material in this build. Farmhouse style furniture is very popular because it looks great and is functional. I built this modern Farmhouse TV stand based on my wife's design. She wanted a TV stand with clean lines with a modern feel, but the distressed look gives it that farmhouse decor feel. The fake shiplap ends adds to the uniqueness of this farmhouse furniture piece.
