COW/BULL (#PACUJAWI) RACE BATUSANGKAR

PACU JAWI tour or COW/BULL RACE festival is a worldwide well known festival which enormously attracts domestic and foreign tourists as well as photographers to experience the villager’s celebration after the rice paddy harvest seasons where it could frequently be found only around Batusangkar - Tanah Datar District and Payakumbuh – Lima Puluh Kota District, West Sumatra (Barat).



It is located about 50 KM from Bukittinggi and roughly takes 90 Minutes drive to get there. The location (arena) for Pacu Jawi festival may differ from one season to another. The celebration itself is available every Saturday ONLY.
