We've been working with Joy Baker and the team at Rein Rescue on a training series. Bruce has worked with 9 of the feral yearlings that they've purchased from the Bowie Sale Barn in Texas in order to give them a foundation in preparation for potential adopters.

One of the most important parts of this project has been the transfer over from the work that Bruce is doing to handling by other people. After all, after the three day sessions with Bruce, the babies are handled daily by Joy, Vickie and the other volunteers until he returns. Eventually, the goal is for an adopter to be able to use the work to make a successful transition for a forever home.

Lynn Carnes, a longtime client of Bruce's and now a regular at Rein Rescue, has been so helpful in working with the babies on short "pictures" to make sure that the work carries over to a new person. Here she works with Ella, moving from the barn into the round pen and on to a task.
