In this webinar, the speakers Meena Sridharan and Priya Iyer discussed various ways of how teachers across sectors and disciplines can translate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into meaningful activities for their learners. Using a hands-on approach to interpreting the SDGs and their implications for the classrooms, they looked at practical examples to integrate these principles into classroom teaching, to enable learners to contribute to their communities. While most of the examples shared are primarily relevant for language teachers, there are many resources for teachers teaching other subjects as well.
