With a gradient of up to 100 percent, this slope is not for the faint-hearted. Even from the mountain opposite, it looks incredibly steep and impressive. Find out why Gamsleiten II is only recommended for experienced skiers and what special challenges await you here.

Gamsleiten II at a glance:
â–ş Length: 1,300 m
â–ş Highest point: 2,313 m
â–ş Difference in altitude: 362 m

How to master the Gamsleiten II without falling:
The first section may seem relatively flat, but it gets really steep from the halfway point at the latest. Experienced skiers rely on the carving technique and short turns, while less experienced skiers can bypass the key section. A pull trail leads around the steep descent in a bend to the right. But be careful: Gamsleiten II is really only suitable for experienced skiers!

Rating and tips:
The Gamsleiten II has it all! The excitement builds on the way up, and the icy wind in the chairlift doesn't make the ride any more pleasant. The slope is checked for avalanche danger, which makes a safe deep snow descent possible. The ascent in the early morning is worthwhile when the snow is fresh. However, the descent becomes more challenging as the day progresses.

Mountain station: Gamsleitenbahn II
Enjoy the breathtaking view from the mountain station before embarking on the carving adventure of the Gamsleiten II. Gamsleiten II is part of the Obertauern ski area, which, in addition to this challenging descent, also offers 100 other kilometers of slopes for all skill levels.
