Review of Yamaha Fazer V1. You can feel the Raw power, Smoothness of the Engine , The Boss of Comfort and Controlling.

Yamaha introduced its low-capacity FZ range in the country back in 2008 which was followed by the Fazer in 2009. Categorized by Yamaha as a Sport Tourer, the Fazer is mechanically identical to the Yamaha FZ16 and Yamaha FZ-S. Yamaha tends to constantly update its range with fresh paint schemes and other cosmetic changes and the Fazer has been through a few of these updates.

The Fazer has semi-fairing and twin headlamps at the front, which sets it apart from the FZ16 and FZ-S. The riding posture of the bike has also been adjusted to make it comfortable for long distance touring. The features the monocross suspension that gives a concentration of mass in the centre reflecting better performance and agile handling.

OPEN YOUR HEART TO THE TOURING SPIRIT The Fazer, gets its DNA from the global Fazer series known for their sports touring & awesome looks. It has a "Look-at-me" appeal with the triple macho design concept giving it a concentrated form with excellent ergonomics. Fazer is beautifully contoured & has aerodynamic cowling to keep the wind blast at bay. With its comfortable riding position and seat, rider can enjoy a week end getaway or head off on a touring holiday. Fazer has the Monocross suspension to ensure agile running performance and handling. The placement of its 'MidShip Muffler' is towards the center of the machine which gives it a good concentration of mass, exhaust efficiency and handling. Fazer has the "140/60-17" size rear radial tyre with a 60% aspect ratio which contributes to better grip and stability.

The Fazer is powered by the air-cooled 153cc four-stroke engine which produces 13.8bhp and 13.6Nm of torque. The performance and power figures are on the lower side for such a muscular looking bike. Power is put down to the fat 140 section rear wheels via a five-speed gearbox. The Fazer gets discs at the front and drums at the rear.
================================

Vehicle Overview Yamaha Fazer V1.0 was recently discontinued due to poor sales as the second version was selling well from the Yamaha lineup. The motorcycle was powered by a 153cc, single cylinder engine producing 13.8 BHP and 13.6 Nm of torque. It claimed a top speed of 118 kmph and used a carburetor for fuel supply. The motorcycle weighs 141 kg while the new version tips the scale at just 137 kg. Fazer V2.0 also comes with fuel injection and returns a better fuel efficiency than the older version. When on sale, it rivaled none other than Bajaj Pulsar 220F due to similarity in body styling.
