Second competition with John in the lead and Jim ion the wheel at Easton Park a week ago. Work in progress but definite improvement. Much more forward going and confident and keeping pace up on the turns now and no dead stops! Have been doing a fair amount of work on long reins, work trot and canter including tightening the circle up at canter. Much more responsive to the voice now (in English) and gettin quicker response to aids for three paces at trot and upward and downward transitions while maintaining a steady contact. Claire has kindly been riding both when she has time and helping with long reining. Driving as singles when groom available; Jim still looking at everything and anything as a single. Tandem around once a week. Looking forward to Cricklands Pre-event train where I can see ow we go outside with hopefully more flowing obstacles and cones and more space.
Video is of one obstacle at normal speed and the others (2 driven twice ion all) are at least in part ion slow motion. This was a mistake while filming and cannot be reversed without loosing all definition. Quite nice to see some in slow motion but maybe too much here for most.
