►Nearly 12 months after picking up the donor 190E, the Golden Era Project has finally made it to the FCP Euro Proving Grounds at Lime Rock Park. A catastrophe was avoided on the dyno thanks to some quick reactions, and the junkyard engine withstood the abuse to deliver healthy horsepower. Now with the car fully assembled, it's time to give the 190E 2.0-16 its first thorough shake-down.

Putting the car through its paces will illuminate any shortcomings and give Nate a list of components that need further work following the day on the track. The shakedown is a day dedicated to dialing in the car. But it's also a time to reflect on what was accomplished.
