SCP-7230 appears to be a freestanding, oval-shaped portal measuring 2.5 meters in height and 1 meter in width. The frame of the portal is constructed from an unknown metallic substance, resistant to all attempted forms of analysis and damage.

When activated, SCP-7230 opens a gateway to multiple alternate dimensions. Activation occurs randomly or when any living organism approaches within one meter of the portal. Post-activation, the portal remains open for a duration varying from several seconds to several minutes.
