A John Deere 5075M tractor provides the pulling and PTO power. A New Holland 316 Baler handles the compacting and square baling. While Ethan and Logan provide the manpower to quickly but carefully stack the cart. Finally, driving the tractor and the boss of the baling operation is Allan.
As the wheat is harvested, much of the stem refuse is put into windrows by the combine. Later, this is baled into straw.
Aves Farms is located near Kirkland, Illinois and farms over 2,000 acres of wheat, corn and soybeans.
