In our first episode, Sarah Osborne reflects on the ways that projects designed in real-world contexts inspire students to work collaboratively and propose creative solutions. Sarah shares the current Grade 7 design technology project where learners are building a sensory wall for toddlers in our preschool. We discuss how meetings with the youngest clients enable connections throughout the community and motivate Middle School students to solve design challenges.
