Hello folks! Let's build a tournament chessboard with procedural wooden textures, step by step, with keyboard shortcuts shown on screen. We can use these models to build a synthetic dataset of chessboard images from training ML models, which works surprisingly well!
For those who know more about Blender, any reason not to use sub-divide over loop cut? Does the topology break?
In the next video, we'll design the pieces from the same Staunton chessboard set!
