We got a new car! This is a survivor, unrestored, former Iowa State Patrol 1978 Dodge Monaco Pursuit. It's a model made with catalytic converters, uses unleaded gas and Electronic Lean Burn. It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It tops out around 140MPH and was the fastest (top speed) domestic car produced in America circa 1978. No ordinary citizen could buy one new (you had to be the government to get this engine in '78). It's also a car that Tom has a personal connection with, and one he's been searching for for a long time.
