The owner of Tempura Daruma in Tenjin, Fukuoka, was hospitalized last year due to acute heart failure, but he and his family and staff are working hard to stay in business for at least the next five years. The owner is proud of his 45 years as a tempura craftsman, and "Tempura Daruma" has become a special restaurant loved by the community.
