Baluyan is a Sitio located in Makar - Digos highway in Malalag, Davao del Sur. This was known in the 70s to 90s as the rough road zig- zag portion of the highway linking General Santos City to Digos City. The trip from Davao to General Santos would take 6 hours because of the road condition from Tagansuli up to Malandag.
