On Saturday morning, May 27, 2017, Gregg Allman passed away from complications from liver cancer at the age of 69. That night, Dead & Company paid tribute to the legendary musician playing a beautiful rendition of Bob Dylan's, Knockin' On Heaven's Door as the 1st encore. Dead & Company started their summer tour Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
