In this video you can see me transferring bees from a structurally failing topbar hive into a langstroth hive. I use a method in which the combs from the top bar are cut off and then cut to size to fit in a standard deep langstroth frame. The combs are secured with nails and rubber bands and over time we can remove the rubber bands and the bees will fix the comb better to the frames.
