This idea just came to me last week and I knew I had to at least try and translate it into a video, even though I knew there would be things I wanted to cover but couldn't because of footage purposes (mainly Dewey's trauma and how it was simply...never really explored?)

For those of you who don't know, this is based off my WIP Scream 2022 Rewrite fic where Gale and Dewey have a daughter the same age as Tara, Chad and Mindy. Gale and Dewey still separated (though didn't divorce) in my fic and Tatum ends up living with her grandmother in Woodsboro. Sam and Tara are also considered as family by Gale and Dewey, but everyone has kind of fractured and gone in their own directions since the 2011 murders - Gale in NYC, Tatum with Mrs. Riley, Dewey at the edge of town, Sam in Modesto and Tara with her mom. The 2021 murders bring them all back together, uniting them as a family unit (+Sidney) for really the first time in a decade.

Essentially, it's a Dewey lives AU with a heaping dose of them co-parenting three final girls on the side...and what's not to love about that?
