Dear Music Lovers,

To introduce myself, I am Preethi Ravindran, a Malayalee, originally from Thrissur, Kerala but now married and settled in Delhi.

After my daughter and son grew up, beyond the age of wanting my constant attention, care and support, and with my husband tied down in his office, 9 am to 9 pm X 6 days a week, I suddenly found myself with a lot of spare time one hand which I did not want to waste.

Having been a music lover myself and having enjoyed Malayalam film songs from my early childhood, spent at Cochin, my husband suggested I start singing and sharing with others.
At first, this idea terrified me but his constant coaxing and pushing started making me think about this. When one of our close friends, a Malayalee himself, started his own Hindi Songs Channel, this spurred me to go ahead with a channel of my own.

With my husband's support and help, I have started my own page on YouTube, called Raaprhythm with the hope that it will be liked, supported and encouraged by all of you.

I really hope all of you enjoy my songs and singing and won't judge it too critically or compare me with other professionals because I am not a professional, I am just a beginner. I know I have a lot to learn, which hopefully, I will along the way, with all your encouragement and support.
