(EDIT) !IMPORTANT! in order to skip using wii backup manager u need to have a compatible usb drive i use a Sandisk cruzer glide 32GB but if your drive is incompatible just use Wii backup manager.

(in my experience using an incompatible drive in fat32 format isn't harmful to your wii but will freeze your wii)

be sure to have the "block disc updates" setting applied in priiloader by not doing this loading retail discs can end up deleting your custom ios versions

(in my experience having your cios versions deleted is also not harmful to your wii but will cause yor wii to freeze or usbloader to crash when loading wii backup games it seems random)
