I usually use my axe and hatchet to cut my firewood however, I'm switching up to a chainsaw and log splitter since the logs are not getting bigger in diameter. The process is faster and unfortunately I'll lose my cardio workout. Under direct sun for the entire day, the wood usually takes a year to dry since its always sunny and hot here in my area.
