How many remember Karl Kani? In the proto days, before the term streetwear had ever been thought of, there were guys working on the future. And Karl Kani, was one of them.

Before the fashion industry ever considered street to be a profitable niche, guys like Karl was laying the ground work for what would later change the fashion landscape.

His designs sparked the trend of rapper inspired clothing, bringing the look and style originated in the hood into the mainstream.

Karl Kani can be looked at as the grandfather of the "urban market" he was Fubu before Fubu. But sadly, not many know his story. And I intend to change that.
