Following the tragic loss of his parents in a car accident, Jonas stays on the remote German island to live with his grandfather. As he attempts to adjust and live normally, he unexpectedly meets Helena, a substitute teacher. After forming a mysterious relationship with her, he discovers that she holds a dark secret.
