পাল ও তৎপূর্ববর্তী যুগে পুন্ড্রবর্ধন রাজ্যের রাজধানী ছিল পুন্ড্রনগর, যার বর্তমান নাম মহাস্থানগড়। এটি রাজশাহী বিভাগের বগুড়া জেলায় অবস্থিত।
যেভাবে যাবেনঃ ঢাকা বা দেশের যেকোন স্থান থেকে ট্রেনে বগুড়া তারপর বাস বা অটোতে মহাস্থান বাস স্ট্যান্ড। অথবা বাসে গেলে জয়পুরহাটের বাসে উঠে বগুড়ার মহাস্থান বাস স্ট্যান্ডে নেমে যাবেন। বাস স্ট্যান্ডের সাথেই রয়েছে শাহ বলগী মাহী সওয়ারের মাজার, তারপর রিক্সায় রাজা পরশুরামের বাস ভবন, মানকালীর ধাপ। আবার একই রিক্সায় শীলাদেবীর ঘাট, জাহাজঘাটা প্রত্ন কেন্দ্র, গোবিন্দ ভিটা, যাদুঘর। এখান থেকে বগুড়া ফেরার পথে আবার রিক্সায় গোকুল মেদ বা বেহুলা লক্ষিন্দরের বাসরঘর।
