5 Tips To Pass The California Contractor Exam

1. Pick a quite place to Study the night before

2. Get plenty of rest the night before. Get to bed early

3. Get to the test location 2hrs early and study, walk around. Get a feel for where the class is.

4. This is a two part tip:
A. If you are retaking the test ask to sit in the same seat as before if you remember what seat it was.
(You might get the same test as before. Let's hope. I did!)

B. Right before you start the test. Take a minute to breathe. Realize once you get up and leave you will be a Licensed Contractor.

5. Listen up.
Any questions you are unsure of save for later option. Remember some questions will answer other questions. Continue to move through the entire test saving unsure questions for later. This means answer the questions you can as quickly as possible.

Once you have reached the last question. ITS IMPORTANT TO STOP AND TAKE A BATHROOM BREAK. Take this time to breathe relax and realize you are closer then ever. Focus. Think about a few of the questions that was challenging and see if you remember the answer. If not that's okay.

Now head back in the test room to finish up. Start on the first question you saved. Remember to choose the "best possible answer". Do not skip any questions on the test. Try to answer every question.
