This is a leftover from upcoming course on creating suspension bridge in Houdini. I thought this topic deserves its own video.

Voronoi Fracture is a great way to quickly generate interesting shapes of all sorts. However, it’s not always as clean and controllable as we want, especially when there is a need for reasonable topology. The main issue is internal polygons—when we remove some Voronoi pieces from the geometry to vary the surface, we lose the benefit of the internal group feature.

Here, I propose an interesting and effective way of dealing with this using dictionaries in VEX. This is not the only solution for this problem, but I find this one pretty effective and versatile, it can be used not only with Voronoi but generally with any paired polygons.
