On our second day in Banaue, we woke up with the sound of the river and birds, enjoyed some local coffee and we decided to rent a scooter and go on a road trip towards Mayoyao Rice Terraces.
Mayoyao is about 2 hours away from Banaue. Just to mention, renting a scooter is not very common in Banaue, most people just go on organised tours, so be sure to speak to your host beforehand to arrange a scooter rental.

We absolutely loved this day on the scooter, exploring the Cordillera Mountain villages, it was honestly one of our best days in the Philippines.
