Today I made a puff pastry butter bread with dozens of layers of bread stacked on top of each other!
It's a really, really delicious bread that's fun to eat layer by layer.
This bread is in the top 3 breads of my life. The flavor is amazing. 👍👍

🍞 Pastry butter bread 🍞

▶ Ingredients ◀ 2 9.5x9.5x9.5cm cube loaf pans
🔥 preheat at 392℉(200℃) for 15 minutes, then bake at 374℉(190℃) for 18-20 minutes.



*The part about cutting the dough at the end of the video was cut out. (9:07) First, trim the uneven border and cut it into a square measuring 18x18cm. Then cut the dough into 4 squares measuring 9x9cm. The thickness of each piece of dough is about 1.5cm, and when two pieces are overlapped, it is about 3cm. Just overlap the dough cut into squares and place it in a cube mold. *


** When kneading with a dough machine **
- Add all the bread dough ingredients and mix at low speed for 9 minutes, then mix at 2nd speed for 1 minute.
Next, just like after the second folding in the video, round the dough and let it rest at room temperature for 30 minutes. Then, unfold the dough into a rectangle and put it in the refrigerator and rest for 6-12 hours.



✏ Bread dough
130g water
40g milk
25g eggs
50g sugar
7g salt
6g dry yeast
25g melted unsalted butter
350g bread flour


✏ Butter for filling
185g unsalted butter
18g bread flour


◼ Storage method ◼
- If you bake it in the oven and let it cool for about 30 minutes before eating, it becomes crispier and more delicious. Store it at room temperature in an airtight container or OPP bag and heat it in an air fryer at 302℉(150℃) for 5-6 minutes to make it crispy and delicious. To store it for a long time, seal it well and store it in the freezer. It is delicious when thawed at room temperature and reheated in an air fryer.
