Delhi Metro:
The Delhi Metro is a mass rapid transit (MRT) system serving Delhi and its adjoining satellite cities. The construction of the Delhi Metro had started in 1998 and opened on 2002. The Delhi Metro network consists of 12 colour-coded lines with a total length of 391 kilometres (243 mi). It is the largest and busiest metro rail system in India. The Delhi Metro operates over 2,700 trips daily, starting at around 05:30 and ending at 23:30.

Lotus Temple:
The Lotus Temple, located in New Delhi, India, is a Baháʼí House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. Notable for its lotus-like shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. The building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad "petals" arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides,[1] with nine doors opening onto a central hall with a height of slightly over 40 meters and a capacity of 2,500 people. Along with its nine surrounding ponds and gardens, the Lotus Temple property comprises 26 acres.

India Gate:
The India Gate is a war memorial located in of New Delhi. It stands as a memorial to 90,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who died between 1914 and 1921 in the First World War and in the Third Anglo-Afghan War. The memorial gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. It was established in 1921 and unveiled in 1931.

Mahatma Gandhi Memorial:
Raj Ghat is a memorial complex in Delhi, India. The first memorial was dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi where a black marble platform was raised on the spot his cremation on 31 January 1948 and consists of an eternal flame at one end. Located on Delhi's Ring Road, officially known as Mahatma Gandhi Road, a stone footpath leads to the walled enclosure that houses the memorial.

Qutub Minar:
Qutub Minar is a victory tower that forms part of the Qutb complex, which lies at the site of Delhi. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is usually thought that the tower is named for Qutb-ud-din Aibak, who began it. It is also possible that it is named after Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki a 13th-century sufi saint, because Shamsuddin Iltutmish was a devotee of his. The Minar is surrounded by several historically significant monuments of the Qutb complex. Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, to the north-east of the Minar was built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak. It was added to the list of World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993.

Established in 1913, Karim's is one of the most famous restaurant chains in the capital. Their first hotel was established near Jama Masjid by Haji Karimuddin, who had famously said, 'want to earn fame and money by serving the royal food to the common man'. Today, it's his fourth generation that runs the show under the name of, 'Karim Hotels Pvt. Ltd.' With their amazing menu comprising Tikkas, Rolls, Qormas, Karahi Gosht and the famous Khamiri Roti, Karim's is definitely a place to visit in Delhi if you love Mughlai food.


Jama Masjid, Delhi:
commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656, and inaugurated by its first Imam, Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari. Situated in the Mughal capital of Shahjahanabad (today Old Delhi), it served as the imperial mosque of the Mughal emperors until the demise of the empire in 1857. The mosque was one of the last monuments built under Shah Jahan. After its completion, it served as the royal mosque of the emperors until the end of the Mughal period. The khutba was recited by the Mughal emperor during the Friday noon prayer, legitimising his rule.
