In 2019 Komunitas Salihara, Indisch Herinneringscentrum, DutchCulture in collaboration with The Netherlands' Embassy in Indonesia and Erasmus Huis Jakarta, worked together on a co-creation project called My Story, Shared History. Within this project, seven artists from The Netherlands with a Indo-Dutch background and/or a family history in Indonesia cooperated with six artists from different parts in Indonesia to create several productions on their connected, 'shared' history and explore their ties for the present and future.

The multidisciplinary productions - photography, literature, performing arts - were presented for a diverse audience at LIFEs, the Literature and Ideas Festival, in Komunitas Salihara Jakarta in October 2019; Indonesia Now: Jakarta Edition in Amsterdam in November 2019 and Indië Next in The Hague in December 2019.
