BUSY

I was gonna paint my nails
But I didn’t
I was gonna write a song
But I didn’t
I was gonna work real hard
But I didn’t
I was gonna be somebody
Until I wasn’t

I’m so done
Being productive
all the time
What happened to the sun
And staring at her
For a while

What happened to just:

Living in the moment
That’s where I wanna be
I got to go there
Somethings always pulling me on my hair
And dragging me out into the busy busy
We all wanna be so busy busy

I was gonna write you back
But I didn’t
I got overwhelmed by all the things who can keep count of all the lists?
Cause I wanted to keep up with the West
But I haven’t
And maybe that’s exactly what I should do
