Spain is home to some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Europe, and the Sierra Nevada has the highest peak of mainland Spain and the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) - MULHACEN!

It's a 26 km out and back trail with many starting points as options and ways to do it, either one or two days, winter or summer. Some people say it's boring, but I say (now) it's all about how you approach it. We did this at the end of November, and it was the first time my partner had been at this altitude and the first time I had gone this high on the project to climb the highest peak in every European country.
